-Please note that leather is a natural, porous product. Leather should not become saturated with water, if it does, it should be allowed to air-dry naturally. If the leather becomes wet, some colour run, of the natural dye may happen. Leather leads ought not be saturated with water. If the lead becomes saturated, allow it to air-dry naturally and do not use heat to speed the drying process. The leather handle should be treated with leather conditioner annually.
