Tripe is a staple in most raw dog feeders. Tripe is the stomach of grazing animals. It’s important when feeding your dog raw tripe, to purchase green raw tripe.
Green tripe for dogs is a wonderfully nutritious food. It offers almost a perfect calcium to phosphorus ratio, an ideal omega 3 to omega 6 fatty acids ratio, and helps boost a dog’s immune system. Raw tripe is high in protein, iron, manganese, selenium, choline, B3, and B12, making this stinky food a great addition to your dog’s fresh diet.
Raw beef lip chunks are rich in zinc, vitamin B12, selenium, phosphorus, niacin, vitamin B6, iron, and riboflavin.
Beef lips are considered muscle meat. High in protein, they are an odd looking cut of meat with spikes on the front and a clear back. They’re also super slimy.
If you need to cut them up, it’s best done partially frozen with a serrated knife.
When served in nice, large rubbery chunks it will provide your dog with good exercise and better dental health.
