Pig Pancreas is suitable for dogs with pancreatic disease and dogs with upset tummies. The pancreas gives your dog some of the digestive enzymes needed to help process fat and protein more easily.
Pancreas can be fed as part of a DIY diet, or can be fed as a treat. However, pancreas is normally advised and fed as a supplement to help treat dogs that have pancreatitis. Pancreas can also be fed to dogs that suffer from frequent issues with IBS or colitis.
A dog's diet should consist of 10% offal from a secreting organ, of which 5% should be liver. Pancreas is ideal for the second 5%
