YAKERS are made from cheese that comes from a mixed blend of skimmed yak and cow’s milk. A very small amount of lime juice and a tiny amount of salt is added, just enough to help solidify the milk, which is then compressed into blocks and smoke dried for 28 days to give the chews their unique smoky flavour. For the flavoured YAKERS, the 100% natural ingredients are added as part of the mixing process.

When your dog has almost finished the YAKERS chew (when approx 3-4 cm left), you can then create a YAKERS crunchy snack by using a small end piece of a YAKERS chew? Simply pop the end piece into the microwave and zap it on high for 30-60 seconds (depending on the power of your microwave) and the final piece will begin to hiss and puff, just like microwave popcorn.
Once the YAKERS piece has puffed up, take it out of the microwave and ensure it has completely cooled before feeding it to your dog.
